Development of Control System for Flexible Structure

In our laboratory, we are doing research on multi-mode active vibration control of flexible structures like high-rise building and main tower of long-span bridges. Active vibration control technology has been introduced since 1989 and its objectives are to reduce and control the residual vibration from earthquakes and strong winds. The research challenges are to investigate the wideband high accuracy modeling method, multi-mode robust vibration control and spillover prevention.
