Efficient Vibration Energy Harvesting Technology

Since the latter half of the 20th century, global warming has become a serious issue due to greenhouse gas emissions from fossil fuels. Energy-saving technologies and energy harvesting approaches have therefore attracted significant attention.

In this study, we focus on vibration energy generated in automotive and industrial systems, and develop piezoelectric-based energy harvesting techniques to convert vibration into usable electrical energy.

Our goal is to realize self-powered systems capable of supplying energy to low-power devices without batteries.
