Development of Intelligent Digital Control Power Supply

In recent years, switching power supplies used in general electronic devices such as personal computers, game consoles, and communication equipment have required increasingly sophisticated and diversified performance.

Examples include high-quality voltage control, transient response stability, reliability under digital loads, lifetime diagnostics, and distributed parallel operation.

However, switching power supplies are nonlinear systems composed of both linear and nonlinear elements, and their behavior depends strongly on input voltage and load conditions, making precise control difficult.

This research aims to realize high-performance and low-cost power supplies by transitioning from conventional analog or LSI-based control to digital control methods.

Ultimately, we aim to achieve intelligent power supplies by integrating analog circuit technology with advanced digital control techniques.
